Deaf or Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHH Teacher) job for a full time position to provide instruction to qualifying students with hearing impairments, attend ARD meetings, and consult with school staff.
This job is in person at a school in SE Houston TX (77023). There are 10 students in the classroom from PK -5th grade, as well as a para-professional. This position begins immediately and is for the remainder of the school year.
DHH Teacher rates start at $76.80/hr
Qualifications for DHH Teacher positions
- Current TEA Deaf or Hard of Hearing Teacher Certification
- Bachelor's degree or higher in deaf education from an accredited college or university
- A minimum of 2 years experience providing related services to school-aged children with hearing impairments
