Deaf or Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHH Teacher) job in Sugar Land, TX for a full time position providing instruction to qualifying students with hearing impairments, attending ARD meetings, staff meetings & trainings, and consulting with school staff.
This job is in person on a middle school campus for the 2025-26 school year for 37.5 hours per week. Proficiency in sign language is required.
DHH Teacher rates start at $76.80/hr
Qualifications for DHH Teacher positions:
- Current TEA Deaf or Hard of Hearing Teacher Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in deaf education from an accredited college or university
- A minimum of 2 years experience providing related services to school-aged children with hearing impairments
