As we celebrate our 20th anniversary at Specialized Assessment & Consulting, I find myself reflecting on the journey we’ve taken and the values that have guided us along the way. It’s been an incredible two decades, and as I look back, one thing stands out above all else: our unwavering commitment to putting People First, Always. This guiding principle has been at the heart of everything we do and is the reason for our success.
From the very beginning, we understood that people are the cornerstone of every successful business. It’s not just about the services we provide or the work we do, but about the relationships we build, the trust we foster, and the care we put into every interaction. It’s this focus on people that has allowed us to make a lasting impact in the lives of the children we serve, the schools we partner with, and the incredible professionals who make up our team.
Our team—now more than 200 W2-employed professionals—has been the driving force behind our success. Each of you brings a unique blend of passion, expertise, and dedication to the field, helping children overcome challenges and reach their full potential. The work you do doesn’t just change lives; it creates brighter futures. Every day, you are making a difference, and I am deeply grateful for the commitment you show to the students, schools, and communities we serve.
But our “People First, Always” philosophy isn’t just about the students. It’s also about recognizing and valuing the people who make our organization what it is. Our team’s dedication, hard work, and shared commitment to excellence are the reasons we’ve been able to achieve so much over the past 20 years. Together, we’ve built a culture that prioritizes respect, collaboration, and support. We believe that when we put people first—whether they are students, schools, or staff—we all thrive.
As we look ahead to 2025 and our milestone 20th anniversary, I am filled with gratitude for everything we’ve accomplished together. Specialized Assessment & Consulting has grown into something truly extraordinary, but it’s not because of what we do—it’s because of who we are. We’ve built a legacy of care, compassion, and excellence, and I’m confident that this foundation will continue to propel us forward in the years to come.
