American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter job for a part time, school based position in Houston, TX (77074).
This job is in person to work one-on-one with a high school student from 8:30am – 12:30pm Monday-Friday for a total of 20 hours per week.
ASL Interpreter rates start at $40.32/hr
Qualifications for ASL Interpreter positions
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in interpreting or related field preferred
- Valid interpreter certification recognized in Texas
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English
- A minimum of 2 years experience as an ASL Interpreter, preferably in an educational setting
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
