Deaf or Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHH Teacher) job for a part time position to provide instruction to qualifying students with hearing impairments, complete assessments, attend ARD meetings, and consult with school staff.
This job is in person across 3 campuses in Austin,TX for the 2025-26 school year for approximately 2 hours per week to serve a caseload of 8 students.
DHH Teacher rates start at $76.80/hr
Qualifications for DHH Teacher positions
- Current TEA Deaf or Hard of Hearing Teacher Certification
- Bachelor's degree or higher in deaf education from an accredited college or university
- A minimum of 2 years experience providing related services to school-aged children with hearing impairments
