Special Education Instructional Aide (Paraprofessional) job for a full time role to provide support to qualifying students and school staff across a variety of educational settings to ensure student safety and participation.
This job is in person in an Early Childhood Classroom in Houston, TX (77012). This position is to work alongside the classroom teacher to support autistic students with learning, daily living tasks and behavior management. This position is for the remainder of the school year.
Special Education Instructional Aide rates start at $19.20/hr
Qualifications for Special Education Instructional Aide positions
- Current TEA Special Education Aide certification
- Minimum of 48 college hours or passing score on the Para Professional Assessment of Knowledge
- Experience working with children
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
