Teacher for the Visually Impaired (VI) is needed for a part time job in Houston, TX. The VI teacher will provide ongoing services, support the student with uncontracted braille, attend ARD meetings and consult with school staff as needed.
This job is in person at a campus in Katy, TX (77449). The VI teacher will be familiar with uncontracted Braille to support a students with reading and classwork.
VI Teacher rates start at $76.80/hr
Qualifications for VI Teacher positions
- Current TEA Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments certification
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- A minimum of 2 years experience providing related services to school-aged children with visual impairments
