Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI, TSVI, VI Teacher) job in Houston, TX for a part time position to provide instruction to students with visual impairments, conduct evaluations, attend ARD meetings, and consult with school staff.
This job is in person on multiple campuses in the South Houston area for the 2025-26 school year. There is a caseload of 8 students across 7 campuses. Services will be performed in person and ARD meetings can be performed virtually.
VI Teacher rates start at $76.80/hr
Qualifications for VI Teacher positions:
- Current TEA Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments certification
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- A minimum of 2 years experience providing related services to school-aged children with visual impairments
